Ouray Ice Festival, Colorado

This time around I felt more comfortable being on the ice. Some days things went so natural and others it was still very frustrating. The axe movement sometimes was perfectly in, other times not at all. Not to mention that my left arm was not 100% reliable and I was covered in body bruises. I think I have to move a bit from the safe zone and “trust the rope” as they say – so I can try more moves.
